Went to an area called Waitomo. It is filled with caves. Spent the night at the Hobbit Hotel. A little different, but nice. It was built into the hillside and had round doors and windows. This is the land of Lord of the Rings!
Went to some caves. Very cool. One of them had glowworms on the ceiling. We were in a boat in the complete dark, going down a river and the ceiling looked like it was the sky covered with stars. Very neat. These are larva that are luminescence.
Also saw a beautiful waterfall. I'll post a picture later. (Free hot spots are not very frequent over here like they are in the states!)
